Hot Mama!

You are beautiful!  Here are some amazing photographs from L's maternity session this past week. I was so excited to photograph her second little one. I've photographed Jeremiah since he was three months old and boy has he grown! He is 18 months old and posing already! Check out the last photo of him. Right on cue with a nice natural smile and looking at the camera.  I can't wait for the arrival of his little sibling.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you...a funny thing happened while we were trying to coax Jeremiah to kiss L's belly...he bit her and drew blood! I guess he really didn't understand what we were asking him to do. Sometimes the things happen, but his cuteness made up for it and he even said sorry.

Happy!

One of the greatest pleasures is in my business is to photograph friends.  Dennis and I met over 7 years ago as we became the best of shipmates.  He always had my back and I did my best to return the favor.  We looked out for each other through thick and thin and became the best of friends in the process. We haven't kept in touch much lately, but that's ok as Navy affairs go. We just pick up where we left off.

So when I got to meet the woman who made Dennis a happy man, I was thrilled. Jen is perfect! I could not have picked a better soul mate for Dennis.  They laugh so easily together, they were an absolute pleasure to photograph.  I think I had a cramp by the end of the session from laughing so hard. Their combined sense of humor is a riot.  They are so in love, I am truly so happy for them to have found each other.  It makes my heart glad to know that Dennis has found his gal and Jen has found her guy.

They are both glowing in anticipation to meet their baby girl.  I even know the name ;) Good luck at the hospital, because that day will be here very shortly.

Big, Round, Beautiful Bellies!

This past week was wonderful! I had the opportunity to photograph three beautiful women and their hubbies who are expecting babies in the next month or so. Such excitement!  Each session was unique, fun and full of smiles.  I can't wait to meet the new babies...they are sure to be as wonderful as their parents. Big, round, beautiful bellies - I love 'em! 

As always, I am humbled when someone asks me to photograph them. There's no feeling like being told..you are the photographer for us. And, we feel your artistic vision best suits us, so just do what you do.  It's an amazing feeling and I hope I don't disappoint!  Thank you for choosing me!  Thank you!

If you are considering a maternity session, please give me a call. Don't let feeling fat or big get in your way. I think pregnancy is a beautiful time in a woman's life and it is worth remembering. What a wonderful gift to share with your child when they are old enough to understand.  I also noticed a special calm, glow and love this week that I don't normally see. Let me find your beauty which you may not see!
